- 01Review and approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials and method statements as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- 02General oversight of the Contractor’s daily activities including works assignments, on
- 03site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations.
- 04Attend factory visits, suppliers plant inspection as required
- 05Follow up testing (Laboratoty witness) and approvals from the relevant authorities
- 06Review of Contractor’s testing requests and subsequent completed reports.
- 07Review and Approval of the Contractor’s Submissions as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- 08Monitoring the performance of the material delivery and accuracy of materials used at site
- 09Coordination with Contractor’s Quality personnel regarding schedule, sequence and method of work.
- 10Monitoring conformance with the Contractor’s schedule.
- 11Continuous Field Inspections of the work in the progress and consultation with both the Resident Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff.
- 12Preparation of written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters.
- — Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- — Proficiency with computer
- — aided design (CAD) software
- — Specific Skills Required
- — Well experienced in the construction of bridge structures, earthworks and road works.
- — Experience in working on infrastructure projects on civil engineering elements
- — Proven work experience as a Material Engineer or similar role
- — Should have knowledge of design mixes for concrete and asphalt
- — Middle East experience preferred
- — Bachelor's degree
