Key responsibilities
  • 01East countries covering 6 countries with +12 VAT&CIT registrations and as well as to control the wide risks pertaining to tax governance and accounting/reporting. What you’ll do:
  • 02Research, monitor and analyze direct and indirect tax legislation and regulations, and changes in Eaton businesses, and assess and report impact(s) on those changes.
  • 03Conduct tax risk assessment in line with Eaton VAT Controls Framework, and report on monthly basis new findings and actions taken to mitigate risks pertaining to tax accounting and reporting.
  • 04Review VAT calculations
  • 05prepared by a separate team
  • 06up with due documentation, and be able to submit VAT refund claims for Eaton entities and Eaton VAT registrations (where and when in VAT refundable positions) in Middle
  • 07Help design, define, implement and test tax aspects in various projects, being part of a project team or by providing active support to Eaton Project Manager(s) and other business functions.
  • 08Communicate and correspond with Eaton Operations and maintain excellent relationships with them.
  • 09Support in conducting tax training sessions with various stakeholders as and when required.
  • 10Assist in developing and implementing tax strategy, policies and procedures for VAT accounting, compliance, and audits.
  • 11Provide tax advice/support on various service lines / business projects.
  • 12Cooperate with global tax teams to align on the tax strategy and business model.
Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance/ Tax, professional accounting or tax qualification is considered a great asset.
  • 5+ years of progressive Indirect Tax (Value Added Tax) experience in Middle
  • East (especially in GCC region) acquired in a multinational company, Big 4 experience is a big plus
