Key responsibilities
  • 01Develop and agree the project execution plan with the project team and ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of the deliverables.
  • 02Ensure that the contract is carried out in a cost
  • 03manage the Cost Versus Allowable process and Commercial interface ensuring that the base contract profit is maintained.
  • 04Ensure that the Project Engineering is managed in an effective manner making sure that the contract deliverables, value engineering and submittal phases are well coordinated and controlled.
  • 05Make sure that all QA/QC documentation is managed and up to date.
  • 06Carry out a weekly HSE meeting and record the general concerns and actions required by the relevant line managers and update all sub
  • 07contract agreements and conditions of employment to satisfy the latest SHEIRMS agreements.
  • 08Carry out weekly Commercial meetings incorporating Change Management Control, Variations, Deviations, Procurement Analysis and Cost Versus Allowable impact.
  • 09Carry out weekly progress meetings with the deliverable teams incorporating the Cost Versus Allowable information with the actual site performance.
  • 10Manage the Human Resource requirements and issue Staff & Labour Scheduling with Un/Loading requirements with performance reports
  • 11Make sure that company disciplinary and performance reward requirements are compiled and reported within the bi/monthly project reports.
  • 12Carry out works as directed by Senior Management & Co
Required qualifications
  • Scope Management
  • Compliance with WPMP (Worley Project Management Plan)
  • Compliance with requirements of the contract.
  • Effective change control process application.
  • Achievement of claims mitigation and claims management if appropriate.
  • Monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control to forecast final costs, identifies trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns.
  • Promotes implementation of VIP (value improving practices) on the assigned project to achieve overall effectiveness of the use of capital on projects.

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • PMP, CCM, or equivalent professional certifications preferred.
