Key responsibilities
  • 01Demonstrate commitment to Weatherford’s Rules, Management System, and all HSE, Security, Quality, and Compliance requirements.
  • 02Lead MPD engineering design, feasibility studies, and well planning activities.
  • 03Develop and review MPD well programs, operational procedures, contingency plans, and execution methodologies.
  • 04Prepare, review, and approve MPD engineering documentation including P&IDs, PFDs, safety zoning, and system layouts.
  • 05Serve as the primary MPD engineering focal point for clients, rig contractors, sales, operations, and third
  • 06party service providers.
  • 07Participate in and support HAZID/HAZOP, DWOPs, and all relevant well planning and client meetings.
  • 08time engineering support during critical MPD operations, including fingerprinting, well control events, and kick/loss scenarios.
  • 09Review daily MPD operational data and provide corrective and preventative engineering recommendations.
  • 10job engineering, equipment readiness, certification, and mobilization activities are completed in accordance with Weatherford standards.

Required qualifications
  • — Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • — 8 years of experience
  • — as an MPD Field Engineer
  • — as an MPD Project Engineer or equivalent.
  • — Demonstrated competency in MPD field operations, MPD engineering, and managed pressure drilling products.
  • — Onshore and/or offshore drilling and completions experience.
