Key responsibilities
  • 01Assist in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers of medical equipment, consumables, and general supplies
  • 02Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal procurement policies
  • 03Track deliveries, manage purchase orders, and resolve supply issues
  • 04Coordinate with clinical departments to understand procurement needs
  • 05Maintain supplier records and assist in reporting and cost
  • 06Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
  • 07Perform buying duties when necessary.
  • 08Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.

  • 11Approve and pay bills.
  • 12Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 7 years procurement experience, preferably in hospitals or healthcare
  • Knowledge of medical supplies, vendor management, and healthcare compliance
  • Proficient in ERP/procurement systems and MS Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
