  • 02As a member of the Middle East Engineering Support team, the candidate will work on design projects, site layouts, in
  • 03Provide mechanical solutions for various projects on all rig components.
  • 04Value engineer existing build programs as well as in
  • 05Coordinate construction projects with local fabricators.
  • 06Design new mechanical equipment, hydraulic arrangements and analyze current builds for modification projects.
  • 07Develop and maintain strong working relationships with H&P’s primary fabrication facilities regionally.
  • 08Formalize technical reports from design analysis.
  • 09Provide technical support for operations on structural repairs, in field upgrades as well as CAT III & IV inspections.
  • 10Mentor junior engineers and be available to advise cross functionally throughout the company.
  • 11Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 123 years of mechanical/structural design experience, strong ability to perform and organize hand calculations and computer aided design analysis.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
  • — Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • — 3 years of mechanical/structural design experience, strong ability to perform and organize hand calculations and computer aided design analysis.
  • — Experience with drilling rig design is beneficial.
  • — Familiar with AISC design practices
  • — Familiarity with API specification and recommended practices is beneficial
  • — Knowledgeable on general structural steel fabrication practices, welding and improving fabrication drawings
  • — Familiar with hydraulic systems
  • — Strong ability to lead projects and be a self
